We're in Belgium, typing on a crazy keyboard. We went to Wells, parents in tow, to see Simon officially perform his godfatherly duty at Thomas' Christening. After a round of golf and a spending frenzy at the golf shop (I now have golf clubs of my own!) we returned to Devon to prepare to catch the ferry from Poole to Cherbourg. We arrived in Normandy, walked to dinner and had a successful night camping right off Omaha Beach. After the next morning's battlefield tour we set off across northern France to arrive late in Rochefort, Belgium, famous for its caves, beers and Trappist monk recipes. We're off to Colditz castle -- we have a tight deadline to be in Hamburg on Friday to stay with friends there. More later! E

Hello across the Atlantic!
Glad to hear that you all survived the camping experience, Simon its ok to hold Erins hand in the tent even if its just while you are sleeping. Hopefully the pillows are a little more comfortable and less stinky.
Talk to you all soon, enjoy your trip and lastly you have tenants in your houses as of 8/15!!!
