UK Farewell Tour part 1

After clearing out our house in Battersea we set off with my parents to the Lee Flower Show and to visit with Simon's aunt and uncle, Tim and Judy. We had a fabulous barbeque and set off early the next morning for elevenses with Robin, AL and Maddie before finding ourselves at the Sheard country home in Suffolk. After several swims and penalty shootouts we had a great dinner, after which Mark and Will had to return to London for school. The following morning we had a bit of a disasterous run through the brambles and nettles on the boundaries of farmers' fields. We spend a few wonderful days with Mike and Kate in Norfolk, via Clacton-on-Sea where we introduced Grandma Crook and Sue to my parents. We then set off on an epic journey to Northumberland to stay with Nicola and Tony and their merry crew of small boys. We managed to keep my parents busy, but allowed them some time to relax on the beach at the end of the day! R

Simon forgot to mention his failure in every area at the Lee Flower show, including coconut shy, beat the goalie, and the legendary wheel barrow assualt course (beaten by at 13 year old!!)! Then back at Kingswood getting demolished at croquet!
